4. How We Store and Protect Your Content

4.1 Photo and Voice Memo Storage

Your photographs and voice recordings are stored securely using Cloudflare R2, an enterprise-grade cloud storage service. Content is encrypted in transit and at rest. Voice memos are accessible via unique QR codes that you control and can share with recipients of your photo books.

4.2 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission
• Secure password hashing
• Regular security audits and updates
• Limited access to personal data by employees

4.3 Data Retention

We retain your photos and voice recordings for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the QR code listening functionality for your printed books. You may delete individual books from your account at any time, or permanently delete your entire account and all associated data from Profile → Delete Account.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate our Service:

5.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information: stripe.com/privacy

5.2 Cloud Storage

5.3 Print Fulfillment

Physical books are printed and shipped by Lulu Press, Inc. When you place an order, we share necessary information (shipping address, book content) with Lulu to fulfill your order. Lulu's privacy policy: lulu.com/privacy-policy

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With third parties who help us operate our Service (as described above)
• Contributors: If you invite others to contribute to your book, they will have access to view and add content to that specific book
• QR Code Recipients: Anyone who scans a QR code in your printed book can access the associated voice memo
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights and safety
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
• Account Deletion: Permanently delete your account and all associated data (books, photos, voice recordings) at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. This action cannot be undone.
• Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw Consent: Opt out of marketing communications

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Keep you logged in to your account

Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Note: Photos of children may be uploaded by adult users for their photo books. It is the responsibility of the uploading user to ensure they have appropriate consent to include such images.
